Bleued & Tattooed

I was inspired by traditional Dutch tiles. I also wanted to add a new take on the saying "thick-skinned". The tiles stand for the elephant's skin and where they would normally protect the elephant from outside harm, the elephant is instead left vulnerable. It's slowly losing its thick skin, leaving muscle and bone exposed.
