We were inspired by the elephant's struggle to survive and have chosen to use surrealism to show this to the public. The elephant faces an uncertain future on this threatened planet. If we don't stop polluting the earth, we will destroy it and all its inhabitants, including ourselves, as can be seen in the few remaining human structures on the elephant's surface. It's like the elephant in the display case of some long forgotten museum. But there's also a positive message: nature will find a way to survive through evolution. As you can see, many elephants have adapted and now inhabit strange landscapes: a higher sea-level, a new ice-age, the forming of new deserts. There is room for hope: an olive branch emerges from the waterfall as a sign of hope in the year 20,010. With this elephant, we hope to make people aware of this special animal which Elephant Parade is fighting so hard for.
