The only predator that is known to kill elephants at times is the mighty and powerful lion. These big cats also hardly need to fear other animals. Yet, there's a threat to both predator and prey. The number of African lions has dropped by up to 75% in recent decades. Not because of natural enemies, but because of us, humans.
