Solefant

Solefant is a creature that loves the sun – the brighter the light the more dazzling and arresting it is. Materials were chosen to contrast the dull grey roughness of the elephant’s skin. The geometrical cube design contrasts the roundness. Ladders and interactive figures emphasize the trompe l’oeil effect. Are we playing with or exploiting the animal?
