"It has been said that an elephant never forgets. This work deals with the elephant's memory; memories that have been passed down across generations, from the first elephants that walked the earth, remembering the events they had to encounter through the centuries.We hope to make the elephant look and feel as if it is carved from a piece of rock with cave paintings on it, almost as if to say it connects with the first civilizations and humans who put their first memories and stories on the cave walls. These cave drawings marks the beginnings of the need and urge to leave the stories from our elders for future generations as we share this planet with these amazing giants."
