"Focusing on positive human emotions, Jordy endeavors to create artworks which evoke love, passion and happiness. Specially selected to design for the prestigious Bangkok Elephant Parade in December 2015, Jordy’s Asian ancestry and passion for the natural world motivated her to contribute. Created and decorated by artists and celebrities alike, each Elephant Parade statue is a unique and individual piece of art. Celebrating harmony and love between different living creatures, Jordy’s charity art piece for Elephant Parade was inspired by the beautiful and complex natural ecosystem of Thailand. Focusing on the special relationships between animals, this stunning sculpture highlights the beautiful bonds and environments that they share. Featuring lots of delicate dancing butterflies flying around a seated baby elephant, this sculpture honours the natural world.
