Elephant Parade is visiting the Alps for the first time!

After Las Vegas, Dubai and Rio de Janeiro the international art exhibition Elephant Parade now makes a stop in the Graubünden mountain destination of LAAX. Each of the 60 elephant statues in LAAX is hand-painted and a unique work of art. The exhibition can be seen at various locations in the winter sports area throughout the 2022/23 winter season.

In cooperation with the Swiss National Circus Knie, the Elephant Parade is now making its way to the Swiss mountains for the first time. Elephants on the mountain are not a premiere for LAAX: as early as the summer of 1992, a real elephant made a guest appearance on the Crap Masegn for four days as part of the “Crap Art” cultural event. The restaurant at the mountain station at around 2,475 m above sea level was built in his honor and named «Das Elefant». One of the herds of the Elephant Parade is of course also on the Crap Masegn today.
