We spoke with Craig, our previous Lucky Draw winner who is kind enough to share his experience winning a 20cm elephant of her choice! Craig chose Stone Rosie as his prize. Find out why Stone Rosie is his pick in this interview!

Before you found our store, had you heard of or seen Elephant Parade before?

My wife told me about Elephant Parade back in 2013, while traveling in Europe, I was lucky enough to see the elephants in Luxembourg. We have since been to see them in Manchester too. We have enjoyed reading about Mosha and the awareness that she had helped to raise.

What makes elephants such special animals?

Elephants are wonderful, intelligent creatures who are amazing to see in their natural environment. Their social interactions and family units are wonderful. It is a shame that they suffer so much ivory poaching and exploitation. My wife and I have only ever seen African elephants while on safari, but would love to see Asian elephants one day too.

Why did you choose this design as your prize?

We chose Stone Rosie to go with Celebration and Love story, as the design featured on Stone Rosie resembles the stained glass windows at York Minster. My wife and I were married at a venue called Grey's Court right next to York Minster, and our favourite wedding photo was taken outside York Minster.

Where will you place your elephant?

Stone Rosie is placed next to love story and Celebration in our living room.

A big thank you to Craig for allowing us to share his lovely interview and to thank all our supportive fans, we're excited to announce that we're going to pick our lucky draw winner more regularly, every 3 months!

To participate, just drop your business cards in our lucky draw jar at any Elephant Parade Shops or directly subscribe to our newsletter http://eepurl.com/dpLlhz to win a 20CM replica of your choice! We hope you enjoy learning about Craig's experience as much as we do!
