Protecting Wildlife: Celebrate Endangered Species day with us

Endangered Species Day, observed annually on the third Friday in May, serves as a global call to action to protect the world’s most vulnerable animals and plants. From classrooms to conservation centers, people around the world come together to celebrate biodiversity and take meaningful steps for change. At Elephant Parade, we use art to tell the story of one of the most threatened species — the Asian elephant — and support the global movement for elephant conservation every day.

The Asian Elephant: Why They Need Our Help

Asian elephants are facing a steep decline. Their natural habitats are being lost to agriculture and development, while conflict with humans continues to rise. With fewer than 50,000 left in the wild, they are now officially classified as endangered.
These highly intelligent and social animals are a vital part of the ecosystem, but they’re disappearing fast. That’s why supporting Asian Elephant Conservation is so critical. Around the world, elephant conservation efforts are helping protect habitats, care for injured elephants, and educate local communities.

Elephant Parade: A Conservation Initiative for the Asian Elephant

At Elephant Parade, we believe in turning creativity into conservation. Our colorful, artist-designed elephant statues are more than beautiful works of art — they are part of a global conservation initiative for the Asian elephant.
A portion of every sale goes directly to projects that protect elephants and their natural environments. We proudly support a network of dedicated conservation partners, including:
● Friends of the Asian Elephant Hospital, home to Mosha, the first elephant to receive a prosthetic leg — and a living symbol of resilience and hope.
● Elephant Family, which champions safe migration routes and co-existence with local communities.

Through these efforts, we fund elephant care, forest regeneration, and community education. You can explore Mosha and conservation pictures and see how your support makes a difference here: Elephant Parade Conservation
